Power Grid Corporation of India Limited conducted comprehensive free health check-up camps at 95 locations across India recently under its CSR initiative. In this camp the qualified doctors conducted health check-up & various pathological tests on site. Free medicines were also distributed to the public. More than 26,000 persons were benefitted under this CSR program.

POWERGRID owns & operates a transmission network of about 129,300 ckm of transmission lines and 207 nos. of EHVAC & HVDC substations having transformation capacity of more than 255,000 MVA. The average availability of its transmission network for FY15-16 was 99.72%.
