POWERGRID bagged with “Gold Shield” in the “National Awards for Meritorious Performance in Power Sector for the Year 2013-14”by Ministry of Power, Govt. of India.

Director(Personnel), POWERGRID received “Platinum Award” for outstanding achievements as “HR Leader” by Greentech Foundation.

POWERGRID is conferred with the “India Pride Award 2014-15” in the category of Excellence in Energy and Power by the leading media house, Dainik Bhaskar.

POWERGRID has been conferred with “Dun & Bradstreet PSU Award 2015” under the Power Transmission & Distribution sector category & “Dun & Bradstreet Infra Award 2015” under Power Transmission category.

POWERGRID emerged as the “Fastest Growing Electric Utility in Asia” for second successive year and is the only Indian PSU in the “Platts Top 50 Fastest Growing Energy Companies 2015” in the World.

POWERGRID has won the “Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award”, 2013 by BIS under Large Scale Service Utilities category.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) was felicitated by Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Power, Coal and MNRE (Independent Charge) for major contribution under Swatchh Vidyalaya Abhiyaan (SVA) in a function organized by the Ministry of Power.

CMD, POWERGRID has been awarded the “Power Persona of the Decade – Transmission & Distribution (T&D)” award recognizing his contribution to India’s Transmission Infrastructure Build-up, Growth and Expansion over the decade. Director (Personnel) has been awarded the “HR Persona of the Year – Power Sector” award for his contribution to HR domain in Power sector at the 9th Enertia Award.

The Ministry of Power Pavilion , Govt. of India consisting of all CPSUs under the administrative control of the Ministry has bagged Gold Award in the India International Trade fair (IITF) – 2015. This is the fifth time in a row that the MoP Pavilion has been adjudged as the best pavilion at IITF.

POWERGRID has bagged the “Most Valuable Company” and “Best Performing Company” award from India Today in Navratna (PSU) category. POWERGRID’s subsidiary company, POSOCO also bagged ‘Best Performing Company Award’ and the ‘Best R&D Innovation Award’ under Other PSUs category.
