State level painting competition organized by Powergrid at Raipur Chhatisgarh
Subject : POWERGRID organizes State Level Painting Competition in Chhattisgarh
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) a Maharatna CPSU under Ministry of Power, Government of India organized State Level Painting Competitions on Energy Conservation for students in Assam, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu, at 54 centres as part of ongoing Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
More than 27,642 children from various schools across the country splashed colors on their canvas and showcased their creative skills on topics of Energy Efficient India and Cleaner Planet.
The painting competition is part of the National Awareness Campaign launched by Minis- try of Power, to promote energy conservation in the country. The winners of the state level competition were awarded with prizes worth Rs 50,000 for standing first, Rs 30,000 for second, Rs 20,000 for third and Rs 7,500 each for ten consolation prizes for Group A and Group B categories.
