Inauguration of 33/11 kV Bogibeel, Chabipool & Hatimurah Substation and transmission lines by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam
Implementation of this project (as central Sector Scheme, with funding on a 50:50 basis by GoI & World Bank) would strengthen the Intra-State transmission and distribution infrastructure of six states of North Eastern Region (Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura); improve its connectivity to the upcoming load centers, and thus would extend the benefits of the grid-connected power to all the consumers. The project would also provide the required grid connectivity to such villages and towns of the States, where the development of distribution systems at the downstream level has been taking place under Gol sponsored RGGVY/ APDRP/ R-APDRP schemes. NERPSIP covers many transmission and distribution lines and sub-stations at 33kV, 66kV, 132kV and 220kV voltage levels.
The followings elements i.e. 33/11kV Chabipool Substation (2x10 MVA), 33/11kV Hatimurah Substation (2x5 MVA), 33kV Samaguri - Hatimurah Transmission Line, 33/11kV Bogibeel SS (2x5 MVA) & 33kV Behiating - Bogibeel Transmission Line are Inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal under north-eastern Region Power System Improvement Project (NERPSIP) by Powergrid on 26-02-2021.
