Sh. Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for POWERGRID’s transmission system strengthening at Kurnool-III PS for integration of additional RE generation projects in presence of Shri S. Abdul Nazeer, Hon’ble Governor, Andhra Pradesh, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble CM, Andhra Pradesh, Shri Konidala Pawan Kalyan, Hon’ble Dy. CM, Andhra Pradesh and other dignitaries. The ₹2,886 crore project includes construction of a 765 kV double-circuit Kurnool-Ill Pooling Station-Chilakaluripeta transmission line and will enhance transformation capacity by 6,000 MVA, enabling large-scale evacuation of renewable energy and supporting the nation's growth.
