POWERGRID acquires four TBCB Transmission System Projects
15th January 2024, Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, GoI, has successfully acquired four Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) for Inter-state Transmission System (ISTS) Projects which were bid out through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process. The acquired SPVs—Vataman Transmission Limited, Koppal II Gadag II Transmission Limited, Bikaner III Neemrana Transmission Limited and Neemrana II Barielly Transmission Limited shall facilitate integration of Renewable Energy Zones, immediate power evacuation and establishment of new ISTS transmission infrastructure
