Dedication of Transmission System between Ajmer and Phagi line by POWERGRID
Transmission System for “Ajmer (PG)-Phagi 765kV, 135 Kms D/c Line along with associated bays at Ajmer (POWERGRID) and Phagi (RVPNL) for Rajasthan SEZ Part-A” implemented under tariff-based competitive bidding by Powergrid Ajmer Phagi transmission line (PAPTL).
765kV Ajmer-Phagi Transmission system is developed for evacuation of Power from potential solar energy zones of Rajasthan, it is a part of the Northern Region System Strengthening Scheme. The total cost of the Project is 618 Cr.
Commissioning of Ajmer (PG)-Phagi 765kV line along with associated bays at Ajmer and Phagi and 3X80 MVAR Bus reactor at Phagi was completed on 25th April 2021 and it is under commercial operation from 6th May 2021.
The Project has been dedicated to Nation on 16-07-2021.
